Timeline: Einstein's Normal Idea Of Relativity
The stage is now set for Einstein’s large questions on how gravity actually works - questions he explores along with his boyhood classmate and friend, mathematician Marcel Grossmann. Flash forward to Berlin in the fall of 1915: a rival emerges just as Einstein closes in on options he’s been working towards for more than a decade. In late November, Einstein stands before the prestigious Prussian Academy of Sciences to deliver his fourth and closing lecture, the one that would perpetually change the way we expect about our universe.
